The GMSTEK team has decades of business and software experience in multiple industries and with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. We have expertise in many languages and platforms, so each project can be developed in the language and on the platform that fits its unique needs.

Several years and millions of dollars ago, GMSTEK began developing X-1FBO. In 2016, X-1FBO was launched to wide acclaim at the National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition in Orlando, FL.


George Reyes

President, CEO and Founder

Mr. Reyes is an accomplished entrepreneur with a long track record of success beginning when he was 19 years old. He built and sold his first business for more than $1M by the age of 21. After selling this business, George moved from California to Florida and became a real estate entrepreneur, eventually building well over $100M worth of “trophy” homes in South Florida. He also created several successful ancillary businesses during this period. For nearly 10 years, George was associated with an Invoice, Payment and Credit business. He was responsible for bringing in over 90% of the revenue for that business while also serving on the board. When he left in early 2013, it was processing over $1 billion in transactions each year. George has listened to and spoken with managers at every level of numerous FBOs. Based on that feedback and his expertise, he has built the elegant cloud-based X-1FBO System. George is a broad gauge businessman with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically. He has a history of building strong partnerships, relationships and teams. George is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach.

Stephen Sandler

Co-Founder and CFO

Mr. Sandler has over 25 years of experience in providing corporate strategy, marketing communications and strategy, and financial services for a wide range of companies. Prior to GMSTEK, Mr. Sandler was the founder and president of SRK Group, and founder and president of VMARK Associates. Both were leading marketing strategy and communications firm serving the life sciences industry and other clients. Products for which Mr. Sandler and his firms provided services have generated revenue in the billions of dollars. Clients included Boston Scientific (18 years), Johnson & Johnson, Smith & Nephew, as well as many early stage companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sandler served as the CFO of Research Media, Inc. a company that developed product launch and educational programs for pharmaceutical firms. Prior to that, he was the CFO of National Information Services, a publicly held minicomputer systems company. Mr. Sandler began his career with Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Company (now KPMG) where he passed the CPA examination. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.


Director IT Infrastructure

Humberto is an IT Professional with over 20 years of hands-on IT Management for companies like Mondelez, Kraft Foods and Cadbury Schweppes. His background includes the design and implementation of cloud based solutions using market leading platforms like AWS (achieved several important certifications), and the implementation and management of Infrastructure Services like Network, Hosting, Telephony, End User Services and Help Desk for big scale companies with thousands of users. Working a big part of his professional career on the customer side has given him a clear understanding of the customer´s needs and the type of partnering that must exist between a technology company and its customers.
